NEIDA Achieves JOSCAR Accreditation

Tom Farmiloe has successfully completed his Quality Pathway Apprenticeship at NEIDA, building on his prior engineering education. The program blended practical experience with off-the-job training, enhancing his technical skills and confidence through learning modern quality control methods and developing professional relationships.

NEIDA has achieved JOSCAR accreditation, confirming independent assessment against recognised defence and security supply chain standards. This builds on NEIDA’s ISO certifications and Make UK Defence membership, strengthening confidence in its governance and compliance.

During this year’s SID International Congress in Chicago, it was announced that David Brown, the current BTMA President and Director at NEIDA, will serve as the President of the Syndicat International du Décolletage (SID) from 2025 to 2027.
