For two consecutive seasons, Kurts has been ranked best in his age group in the UK for both disciplines and in October 2017 was granted a place on the England National Talent Squad, boosting his chance of selection for the GB Junior Team.

Tom Farmiloe has successfully completed his Quality Pathway Apprenticeship at NEIDA, building on his prior engineering education. The program blended practical experience with off-the-job training, enhancing his technical skills and confidence through learning modern quality control methods and developing professional relationships.
During this year’s SID International Congress in Chicago, it was announced that David Brown, the current BTMA President and Director at NEIDA, will serve as the President of the Syndicat International du Décolletage (SID) from 2025 to 2027.
