What is National Apprentice Week?

National Apprentice Week is a week-long celebration that brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make on individuals, businesses and the wider economy.

The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2024 is “Skills for Life”.

Encouraging everyone to consider how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and employers to develop a workforce with future-ready skills.

Why enroll on an Apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships at NEIDA offer the opportunity to learn in a work-based environment for individuals wanting to gain hands-on experience and upskill in a sector of interest whilst earning a competitive salary supported by approved training providers.

We believe that the key to closing the ever-increasing Skills Gap is getting the next generation interested in engineering.

NEIDA partners with several training providers and runs apprenticeship schemes, which see a number of apprentices employed annually across our locations.
