Following a successful visit to the 28th Japan International Machine Tool Fair, JIMTOF, in Tokyo this week, NEIDA will soon be the owners of an additional Star SR32-J sliding head machine.
David Brown (Commercial Director of NEIDA) met with both Hiroshi Tanaka (Managing Director of Star Micronics Japan) and Steve Totty (Managing Director of Star Micronics GB) to discuss the new purchase during the show, which has included an extensive amount of extra equipment to satisfy a new contract won by NEIDA recently.
A tour of the Star factory in Kikugawa was also given to see the latest developments in Star machines together with how the machines are made.
As part of our continuous investment policy, this is the third sliding head to be added to our portfolio in 2016, following the delivery of an SR38-Type B to our Isle of Wight factory in July and the installation of an SW-12R II in September at our Stoke on Trent Headquarters.
