Young Engineer of The Year
KMF’s YEOTY is a local competition that has so far reached more than 19,000 students, worked with over 55 sponsor organisations and invested over £550,000 in encouraging students into STEM subjects with the hope to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. The competition also leaves a legacy product with their schools for them to continue working on.
YEOTY22 Space Olympics will see Year 10 pupils from 20 Stoke-On-Trent schools the opportunity to challenge themselves with a project that involves designing, building and launching their capsule of Space Olympics science experiments into near-space using a giant balloon.
NEIDA has once again sponsored St Joseph’s College in Trent Vale, Stoke-on-Trent. For the seventh consecutive year, the team at NEIDA will provide mentoring support to the students in the hope of winning the coveted award of Young Engineer of the Year 2022.
