At NEIDA, we are focusing our efforts to minimise the risk of exposure to COVID-19 across all of our sites whilst maintain the same high level of service that our customers expect.
As the situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, we would like to confirm that our supply chain is currently unaffected and that both our offices and factory will remain operational during the second lockdown period.
It is vital that the manufacturing industry continues to work effectively and safely throughout this period as the government shifts its focus to reducing the number of COVID-19 cases.
We have introduced a series of measures throughout all of our facilities and are actively encouraging our staff members to follow the guidelines set out both inside and outside of the workplace. These include;
Regular hand washing and the use of new hand sanitising stations located throughout our offices and factories
Maintaining the 2m social distancing rule wherever possible
Wearing of face coverings where 2m social distancing isn’t possible or when outside of your typical “working zone”
Following a one way system around buildings to minimise contact
Regular cleaning of communal workspaces
Restrictions for on site visitors
Staggered breaks and lunch breaks to reduce staff numbers in communal areas
At NEIDA, take the health and safety of our employees, customers and associates very seriously and preventing the spread of COVID-19 is our highest priority. We continue to take advice from the Government and Public Health England, and will continue to monitor developments closely.
