NEIDA bids farewell to dedicated long-service logistics and warehouse employee
Congratulations to Ron Bell, retiring after 30 years long service at NEIDA.
After three decades of dedicated service, it’s with mixed emotions that NEIDA announces the retirement of Ron Bell, a key employee within our warehouse and logistics department. Starting his journey at NEIDA in November 1993, Ron has been an essential part of our logistics operations, witnessing and contributing to significant growth and changes within the company.
When Ron joined NEIDA, the company was much smaller, focusing on small goods out of precision turned parts and threaded fasteners. Over the years, Ron has witnessed NEIDA’s remarkable transformation, which includes the establishment of a state-of-the-art warehousing facility spanning over 22,000 square feet.
Furthermore, NEIDA has expanded its operations significantly, boasting a total of over 100,000 purpose-built production and warehouse facilities across the UK. Ron has witnessed NEIDA’s commitment to innovation firsthand, observing the company’s investment in cutting-edge machinery. Presently, NEIDA utilises over 100 CNC and CAM machines to manufacture bespoke turned and milled components for some of the most demanding sectors globally.
“Ron has not just been a part of NEIDA’s journey but has been integral to our growth and the evolution of our supply chain solutions. As we moved from our initial setup at Newstead to our current purpose-built warehouse, Ron’s dedication and hard work were invaluable. Ron has helped us navigate through many of our major changes, including the crucial warehouse re-location. His dedication to maintaining high standards has not only positioned him as a valued colleague but also as an essential member of NEIDA. We thank him profoundly for his years of service and wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement.” ”
Gary Crowther-Green, Logistics Manager
Ron’s departure signals the close of a chapter marked by hard work, dedication, and a profound understanding of warehouse management and logistics intricacies. NEIDA remains committed to growth and innovation, investing in cutting-edge machinery, producing 250,000,000 precision turned and milled components per year. The contributions of team members like Ron have laid a solid foundation upon which NEIDA‘s operations and success will continue to thrive.
As we bid farewell to Ron, we look forward to the future with the same commitment to growth and excellence that he exemplified throughout his remarkable career at NEIDA.
